Jude is privileged to be a part of the GK Calls Pro-Staff. GK Calls make the Giant Killer Shortreed Goose Call as well as other premiere waterfowl calls. Jude has been blowing GK Calls ever since he learned how to blow the shortreed. GK Calls slogan is: “WE don’t want to be the biggest…just the best!”.

The Giant Killer "Original" started back in 1996 when Todd Svoboda a professional guide and championship goose caller started turning shortreed goose calls by hand out of wood.

After three years of perfecting his call he brought it to the marketplace in September of 1999 produced in acrylic. In 2003 Todd merged his call business with Bob Alfieri owner of Wingfeather, Inc. and created a new division known as GK Calls.

The Giant Killer became very popular amongst Midwest waterfowlers because of the full range and deep sound it produced. In 2003 GK propelled itself on to the national scene with a new line up of calls which includes the Little Giant. It is an "Awesome Hunting Call" as described by our customers! The Comp Killer, which has earned its stripes on the calling circuit, has "83 WINS" and 104 TOP FIVE finishes since its introduction. GK Calls is very fortunate have some of the nations top callers and hunters representing its call line. One should not forget our Giant Slayer, a great all around call with big goose built in at a very affordable price. Last, but not least, our latest edition, the Canuck, is a little call that is full of goose and fast… real fast.
